I am a full-time Freelance Illustrator and Cartoon-Portrait artist from Hondeklip Bay, a small Fisherman’s Village on the wild side of the Namaqualand Coast in the Northern Cape.

After receiving a BA Fine Art degree I joined the Pretoria News as their Cartoonist and Illustrator. I later moved down to Cape Town where I worked for The Argus until 1986. Since then I’ve been a fulltime Freelance Artist concentrating on Group Portraits.

Among my clients are Anglo American, S.A.Breweries, British American Tobacco, Media 24, Rand Merchant Bank, FNB, Nampak, Mondi, Standard Bank, ABSA, Discovery Health, MiWay, Sasol, Momentum, Grinaker-LTA, Investec, Vodacom, Tracker, WesBank, PepsiCo International in Dubai and Fairfax Media in New Zealand.

My paintings, cartoon-portraits and illustrations hang in houses, studies and boardrooms all around South Africa as well as in England, UAE, Canada, Australia , New Zealand, Costa Rica and the USA.
